In the first Episode of Saturday Night Factional Fight we introduce the cast and give you a quick overview of our MMORPG history. We then move on to pose the question of why we can't seem to play MMORPG's together, even though it seems we all have the same intentions. This begins our adventure down the long and winding road of discoveries, let downs, and hope. Welcome to the fight of our MMORPG Lives.

Highlights:
  • Why we play only one MMORPG at a time.
  • What we think about the Death Penalty.
  • How we feel about Fluff in our games.
  • What kind of Alternate Advance system floats our boat.

Dread Knight of Sartok by Romans DeMalum
You sound sort of like an audio book. Are you reading from a script?

Don't kiss SOE's ass like some podcasts - Keep it real and unrehearsed. :)

Ok - It's only the intro that's wonky sounding. Good stuff. I like earning my stuff too. But I don't like hearing about WoW. I like EQ1 and VG talk.

Talk about how SOE has crapped on crafted VG gear vs. the glorified quest and dropped gear

The ease of play that macros allow and how they are abused.

The lack of an original rule-set server in VG.

The loss of team pvp. The loss of good vs. evil lore in Vanguard and the hello kitty adventure island crap of VG's slow motion move toward the watered down simple minded vision of Silius The Red Alpha Dog.

Good start by Stephen
You guys did an excellent job. You all brought experience to the table. Bones was able to give his reasons for liking WoW, and neither Fae or Gath dissed hime for it. I have heard some pretty bad podcasts from so called "journalists", and this one is head and shoulders above them. Great job guys. Can't wait to hear the next one.

Great Pod Cast by Rat Slave
Great Job!!! New MMO is like playing a scripped book now. I want to be free to explore the world with quest only there as a side story.
